INDEPENDENT
Saturday, 21 October 2017“I want to be independent. To meet interesting people... I just mean new people with clever things to say. Things I’ve never heard before. I want to be free. Open to whatever adventure comes along and sweeps me off my feet.”
CERRO SAN CHRISTÓBAL
Friday, 20 October 2017One of my best days in Santiago! Hiking up to this viewpoint on top of Cerro San Christóbal. While I was walking down the road where all the cyclists go up I met some really kind people who gave me some tips about the city. That’s something I réally love about solo travelling. It’s so easy to meet new people!
THE UNKNOWN

U2 CONCERT
What a night! Last saturday U2 had a concert in Santiago in this big stadium. It was beautiful with the mountains in the background and allll those people. Insane. After the concert we walked in streets filled with so many people. They came from everywhere. Took some time before it got more quiet and we could take a taxi ;)
Evening not to forget!
CON MI PERRO POLA
Wednesday, 18 October 2017I already explained that I’m in santiago as workawayer, but I did’t tell what exactly it is I’m doing. So, the ‘work’ I do is taking care of this cutie. Dogsitting actually haha! And I’m helping with several (cleaning) tasks in the appartment. Pola is such sweet company. Only a few days left together with her :(
SANTIAGO APPARTMENT
Tuesday, 17 October 2017I’m staying in Santiago with a host I know from the website workaway.info. It’s my first workaway experience, but a very good one! ;) The appartment is in Las Condes, a business district, and the view I have when I wake up is insane, haha!
OFF TO CHILE FOR 3 MONTHS
Friday, 13 October 2017Sooo, I’ve already been in Chile for 1 week by now, just didn’t find the time and motivation to blog. I will stay in Chile for 3 months (alone) at 4 different places. It is a very new, exiciting adventure! The first 2 weeks I’m staying in Santiago (only 1 week left). The first 2 days I stayed in a hostel and my backpack was lost. After 3 days I finally got it back, which was a big relief. Now I’m staying with a (very nice!) host in this big city and the sweetest dog Pola. I love to experience the life here, and had some great days already!
