MACHU PICCHU
The moment we saw this, in the morning at 6 AM we immediately understood why this is one of the seven world wonders. How people could have built this on thÃs place is incredible. It costs a lot of money, time and effort to visit Machu Picchu, but wow. 100% worth it.
SALT PANS OF MARAS

After a collectivo from Ollantaytambo to Tarabamba and a 50 minute walk we came to these beautiful salt pans. Where they extract salt in an ancient way, the way incas did. It's huge!
UROS ISLANDS

From Puno we did a daytour to the Uros islands on the Titicaca lake. Highest lake in the world. The islands are made of reed and the people still live here like they did in the time of the Incas (from around 13th century).
